Churchlands Training Centre
Established
as a centre of excellence, Judo International’s Churchlands Training Centre provides
professional judo tuition and training for students of all ages and levels 4
days a week, all year round. Lessons are conducted in a positive atmosphere
with an emphasis on enjoying judo and achieving one’s potential. The club’s
facilities include:

The club is
affiliated with the Judo Federation of Australia Inc. (JFA) and has links with
international judo clubs and has an exchange program with a high school in
Japan.
Senior
instructor Peter Middleton has over 40 years of experience practicing and
teaching judo at an international level. He is a former British Open and British National Champion
and was a member of the British National Team for 10 years representing Great
Britain in a number of tournaments including the Jigaro Kano Cup in Japan, the
European Championships and the American Open.
Peter was the JFA:WA State Coach for the 2005 and 2006 JFA National
Championships and has a reputation for positive coaching and engaging teaching
methods.
